Privacy policy
Convertt collects no data. Everything happens on your device. Your documents, photos and signatures are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and the app has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.
What stays on your device
- Documents and upload kits are saved in the app's folder, which you can open in the Files app under On My iPhone (or iPad) › Convertt.
- Signatures and initials are kept in your device's Keychain. They stay on this device and are not synced to iCloud.
- Settings, such as your default page size and your own photo sizes, are stored with the app.
Deleting the app deletes all of this. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, your documents are included in that backup; Apple handles backups, not us.
Nothing is sent anywhere
Convertt doesn't send your files or any information about you to us or to third parties. It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software, and it doesn't use your data to identify you or follow you across apps and websites.
Permissions
- Camera: only when you scan a document. Scans stay on your device.
- Photos: when you pick photos, you choose exactly which ones Convertt can see. The app asks for permission to add to your library only when you save images there.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
Purchases
Optional purchases, such as tips, are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase went through.
Crash reports
If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These don't include your documents, and we can't use them to identify you. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Convertt doesn't collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If what the app does with data ever changes, we'll update this page before that version is released and change the date at the top.
